BECT structural experts preformed a comprehensive analysis for the bridge as well as the substructure area. The result was the construction for a new swing bridge to avoid the setbacks of the old one while establishing a new hydraulic and MEP systems. The bridge serves the downtown area of Damietta which achieves a perfect traffic flow between the two banks of the Nile
The project is divided into several stages: 1- design stage, 2- tendering stage and 3- site supervision stage. Concerning these stages, BECT provided the following consultancy / design services: Geotechnical & Survey, Structural, MEP, Specifications and BOQ.
