PGESCo has shown proven capabilities by safely providing land mark projects for energy and industrial sectors in Egypt and the MENA region. Designing the PGESCO office building is a challenge to maintain the operation along with regular work activities in site. Environmental friendly, wide creative paces and accommodating offices for approximately 400 employees are the main concepts for developing the corporate office building. Satisfying PGESCo's core values of enhancing employees satisfaction.
The project is the rehabilitation and the extension of the existing office building located at New Cairo, Egypt. In 2006, BECT has provided a complete design and workshop drawings for the original building, as well as the MEP works.
The building foot print is approx. 2,260 m2 and the land area is approx. 6,750 m2. The building consists of three floors (Ground, First and Second) in addition to two basements. The extension aims to increase the building capacity by adding three additional stories with Floor area of 1,750 m2/each.
The project is divided into several stages: 1- design stage, 2- tendering stage and 3- site supervision stage. Concerning these stages, BECT provided the following consultancy / design services: Survey & Geotechnical, Landscape, Architectural, Structural, MEP, Specifications and BOQ.
